Option: Reading/Language Arts Description: To earn a Master's Degree in Elementary Education with a specialization in Reading, you must complete the 30 unit Reading / Language Arts Specialist Credential Program (which also includes the courses for the Reading Certificate Program), plus 6-9 more units (Qualitative Research; Comprehensive Exam or Thesis).
