The Ed. D. in Educational Administration and Leadership is offered jointly by the Colleges of Education at California State Universities of Long Beach, Los Angeles, Pomona, Fullerton, and the University of California, Irvine.The Ed. D. program is designed to prepare current and future K-16 educational leaders to develop and nurture organizations that can serve the diverse populations of Southern California.

Program candidates will be reflective scholar practitioners aware of the complex challenges curricula, finance, organizational dynamics, and effective collaborative partnerships with local, state, and national stakeholders in California K-16 school systems.

Emphasis will be placed on the expanding and changing role of education as an intervention for social change in meeting the multifaceted needs of society. Graduates, in a cohort learning community, will experience an interdisciplinary approach to educational leadership, teaching and learning, organizational development and management, and research.
