- Is there a way to test out of the California Level 1 Computer requirement?
- CSULB is offering a 1-unit course, ETEC 411, which assessess (but does not teach) Level 1 competencies. Further information is on the educational technology web site.
Also, the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CCTC) has contracted with National Evaluation Systems to offer an assessment of the Level I Computer Competencies. For information about fees and administration dates, their number is 916-928-4003. Booklets about the test are often available at CSULB's credential center.
