PPS Credential/Masters School Psychology

17. What other requirements I should know about for the PPS credential in School Psychology?

1. Students must pass the CBEST prior to beginning fieldwork or internship.

   Student must obtain a certificate of clearance from the state prior to beginning an apprenticeship, fieldwork or internship.

   Students in the joint Educational Psychology/School Psychology program must pass the CSULB Writing Proficiency Exam (WPE) prior to advancement for candidacy.
   Students in the Educational Psychology/School Psychology program must be advanced to candidacy prior to taking more than 12 units of 500-600 course work.
