Biography

Dr. Hansuvadha has had over 6 years of classroom experience in special education classrooms where she has worked as a Special Day Class teacher serving early childhood and elementary students with mild/moderate disabilities and moderate/severe disabilities in Ventura County, California

Research Interests

My primary research focus is collaboration among special education teachers and culturally and linguistically diverse families of children with special needs. My dissertation research qualitatively examined collaborative practices and attitudes of special education teachers in early intervention and early childhood special education.

The second area of research interest is effectively preparing teachers for multicultural and diverse inclusive classrooms.
