Education Psychology Application Procedure
Two Separate Sets of Applications need to be submitted:
1. University Admission Application and 2. Program Admission Application.
Each office (i.e., university & program) must receive a complete
set of application with all required documents separately.
- University Admission Application
File an “Application for Graduate Admission” along with
one complete set of official transcripts with the University Office
of Admissions no later than March 1 for Fall consideration. Application
can be obtained online at www.csumentor.edu
- Program Admission Application:
- Meet University admission requirements.
- Submit the following as one complete packet to the Office of Graduate
Studies and Research no later than March 1 for Fall consideration.
- A separate Educational Psychology Program Application.
- Official transcripts, one from each college attended (transcripts
must verify a GPA of 3.00 or higher on the last 60 semester
(or 90 quarter) units of college course work taken) sent to
the Graduate Office in the College of Education.
- Evidence of completing at least a baccalaureate degree majoring
in the behavioral sciences, education, or related program prior
to beginning the Master of Arts in Education (Educational Psychology
Option). (Applicants with other majors should seek advisement
from the program faculty).
- Official transcript of test scores obtained from the Educational
Testing Service (ETS) for the GRE General Test sent to the Graduate
Office in the College of Education. For admission consideration,
the criterion is a combined Verbal and Quantitative score of
1000.
- For international students, whose primary language is not
English, in addition to GRE scores, send an official transcript
of test scores obtained from the Educational Testing Service
(ETS) for the Test of English as Foreign Language (TOEFL) to
the Graduate Office in the College of Education. For admission
consideration, the criterion is a TOEFL score of 550 or higher. For further information on International Admissions, visit the website of Center for International Education.

- Self Addressed Stamped Postcard
