Accelerated Program
Our redesigned Professional Administrative Services Credential (Tier II)
program was created with convenience and scheduling in mind.
We've taken a quality curriculum and made it more accessible,
by allowing you not only to juggle your work with your learning,
but also to integrate your professional experiences into
your academic studies. This accelerated program is guided
by the new California Administrative Standards of Quality
and Effectiveness, and focuses on meeting the professional
and academic needs of the busy administrator through a unique,
five month experience.
The Program
The Professional Administrative Services Credential program fulfills the
state of California’s final credential requirement for all practicing
school or district administrators currently working under a Tier 1, Preliminary
Administrative Services credential. Candidates are accepted as a cohort
by August 1 of each year and begin the program in the fall semester. The
cohort structure promotes professional collegiality and ongoing interaction.
Because candidates develop their own self-selected standards based goals,
a high degree of individualization occurs. At the same time, candidates
receive multiple opportunities for collegial support through interactive,
professional dialogues with peers, mentors, and instructors.
