Student Learning Goal 1
At the conclusion of the program the student will be a change agent who strategically improves quality, protects the long-term health of the organization, and promotes success for all students.
Students will:
- Demonstrate systemic educational reform skills and strategies
- Manage change, anticipate trends and accommodate the unpredictable
- Produce better educational results across diverse groups
- Manage conflict and change by building and maintaining productive relationships
- Demonstrate the courage to take risks, make difficult decisions, and accept responsibility
Student Learning Goal 2
At the conclusion of the program the student will be an advocate for the education of all students.
Students will:
- Recognize the policy-making role of organizational boards and work effectively with these boards to advance the mission of the institution or district
- Work with the legislature to highlight educational needs in the areas of finance, human resources, and student rights and responsibilities
- Employ an entrepreneurial stance in seeking alternative funding sources.
- Implement financial strategies to support programs, services, staff and facilities
- Communicate clearly and persuasively to internal and external constituencies
- Inform and alert constituents about local and state issues
- Build and leverage networks and partnerships to advance the educational mission
Student Learning Goal 3
At the conclusion of the program the student will be a visionary who reaches beyond the school to involve the community.
Students will:
- Model persistence and optimism
- Move, share, and guide the history, philosophy, and culture of the organization
- Catalyze involvement and commitment of students, faculty, staff, and community members to work on the educational mission
- Inspire a commitment to change and improve

At the conclusion of the program the student will be a critical thinker who listens, evaluates, and synthesizes critical issues.
Students will:
- Promote research and evaluation that make a difference
- Define problems carefully
- Use reflection to learn and grow self and organization
- Evaluate research studies based on their value to the organization
- Assess validity and transferability of research findings

At the conclusion of the program the student will be an ethical decision-maker who brings care and justice to the community.
Students will:

At the conclusion of the program the student will be a teacher whose concerns exemplify a desire to enrich the lives of students.

- Identify ways to facilitate learning for the organization as a system and learning for individuals within the system
- Promote comprehensive staff development related to student achievement

At the conclusion of the program the student will be a practitioner who cultivates social and organizational culture and observes, studies, and recognizes cultural issues.
Students will:

- Promote diversity and equity among students, colleagues and community partners

At the conclusion of the program the student will be a professional manager who develops a positive environment that supports innovation, teamwork, and successful outcomes.
