Marriage and Family Therapy Field Work
- An Application for Field Work (obtain from the Graduate office, ED1-Room
7) must be submitted and approved prior to enrollment in each of the
two semesters of Field Work. The Field Work Application deadlines are:
March 1 for the Fall and summer semesters; October 1 for the Spring
semester. EACH SEMESTER OF FIELD WORK REQUIRES
A SEPARATE APPLICATION.
- 2004-2005 Field Work Prerequisites (changes expected beginning Fall
2005):
- 1st semester Counseling Field Work, COUN 609 (150 hours
per semester, 10-15 hours per week. NOTE: CSULB Educational Psychology
Clinic requirements AND Field Site Requirements);

- 2nd semester Advanced Counseling Field Work, COUN 643D (150
hours per semester, 10-15 hours
per week);
- COUN 609
- 3rd Semester Advanced Counseling Field Work, COUN 644 (150
hours per semester, 10-15 hours per week);
