Affordable, professional counseling services for adults and families is offered at the Educational Psychology Clinic in Long Beach, CA. Individual and couples therapy are provided by advanced graduate students in Marriage and Family Therapy, under the supervision of licensed University faculty. Counseling, Psychoeducational Assessment and Tutoring Services for Children

The Educational Psychology Clinic offers counseling, psychoeducational assessment and tutoring (academic interventions for struggling students) services to children ages 6 through 17, and developmental assessments for children ages 3-6. For more than thirty years, the Educational Psychology Clinic at California State University, Long Beach has served as a primary training site for the School Psychology, Counseling, and Reading/Language Arts Specialist Credential Program while providing comprehensive educational and psychological services to children at a moderate cost. Services at the Clinic are provided by graduate students under the supervision of faculty in the College of Education. Clients are accepted for services twice yearly (September and February) with the addition of the Early Childhood clinic in early November. At the end of the services, parents receive a progress report detailing assessment results and suggestions for further interventions.
