About Us
The Department of Liberal Studies is housed
in the College of Education at CSULB. With approximately 2000 majors, Liberal
Studies is the major of choice at the university of choice.
Each of our distinguished faculty
holds a joint appointment with Liberal Studies and a specialized discipline.
We share our faculty with the departments of Art, Educational Psychology, English, Geography,
History, Music, Political Science, Science Education, and Teacher Education.
The department of Liberal Studies has a dedicated
staff who are prepared to advise you as you proceed through our programs.
