Track I Subject Matter Requirements

In Track I students take core courses in the subjects that they will be teaching. A minimum of 102 units distributed as specified in Areas I, II, III, IV, V and VI. No core classes may be taken credit-no-credit. Download Program Requirements Handout Track I_2084(PDF).

Area IV: History and Social Science (minimum 24 units)

All Track I students must complete a Concentration in an area of their choosing. Please make an appointment to meet with a Liberal Studies Advisor for more information.

ELECTIVES (7-10 units)

   All Track I students must complete sufficient Elective course units to meet university graduation requirements.
