Spring 2012 Student Teacher Professional Day - March 23, 2012 12-5pm

Spring 2012 Student Teacher Professional Day will be on Friday March 23rd from 12-5pm.  Check in will begin at 11:30am in front of PSY-150.  The opening session will begin promptly at 12:00pm in PSY-150.  All student teachers are required to leave their school site early on this day to be on campus by 12:00pm.  It is expected that student teachers teach any morning classes and then leave sub plans for their mentor teachers to take over any classes in the afternoon.  We welcome any supervisors that wish to participate in this day.

Spring 2012 Student Teaching Evaluations

For Spring 2012 all Student Teacher Evaluations will be completed and submitted online using Taskstream.com.  All supervisors and cooperating teachers will need to subscribe to Taskstream.com if you have not previously done so. Contact the Single Subject Office for more information.

Midterm Evaluations Due April 15, 2012

Final Evaluations Due June 10, 2012

Spring 2012 Grades

Spring 2012 grades are due on MyCSULB by May 24, 2012

Reminder - Length of Student Teaching

Please remind your student teachers that the student teaching experience is a 20 week commitment. For Spring 2012 student teaching runs approximately from January 23rd, 2012 through June 15th, 2012.

Travel Reimbursement

Beginning January 1, 2010 the reimbursement rate for travel is .50 cents per mile. Please print and use the updated form below.

Student Teacher Handbook

Attached below is the Spring 2012 Student Teacher Handbook.   All student teachers are required to either download a copy here or purchase a copy from the University Bookstore Copy Center.  Please also share this link with cooperating teachers, principal's and any other administrators that may need a copy of the handbook.
