Subject Matter Evaluations

Evaluation of subject-matter competence for non-CSULB  Single Subject Credential students is available for the following subjects: Art, English, Home Economics, Health, KPE, Languages Other Than English (French, German, Italian, Spanish, Latin, Japanese, not able to evaluate Arabic or Mandarin at this time) Math, Music, Science (biology, chemistry, physics, and geology), and Social Science.

The charge for a Subject Matter Evaluation is $35.00 and the evaluation process takes from 6 - 8 weeks to complete.  

To request a subject matter evaluation, please download and complete the form below and mail it along with:

• All transcripts (copies of originals are fine, no web printouts) 
• $35.00 (cash only)
• A self-addressed stamped envelope
