Single Subject Credential in German (LOTE)

For Students Entering the Program
PRIOR TO Spring 2008

SUBJECT  MATTER  PREPARATION (36 units).

Basic Core  (24 upper-division units)

RECOMMENDATIONS: Courses should be selected in consultation with the German advisor. Studies or an internship in a German-speaking country are strongly recommended. The Department of Romance, German, and Russian Languages and Literatures will assist with such plans.

NOTE: The Single Subject Credential, from the State of California and the CSULB Subject Matter Preparation (i.e. B.A. in German) require 33 units in the target language (i.e. German). For the German B.A., or a combined German B.A. and Single Subject Credential degree, please contact one of the German advisors.
