Required Coursework
Science credentials designate an area of emphasis. Candidates select either
biology, chemistry, geology or physics. Each area has its own set of required
courses. There are breadth courses (introductory level classes in all fields)
for each discipline and depth courses (upper division) in each selected field.
In addition to the science courses there are education classes that you must
take as well.
Please Note: revised programs are currently under review for
approval by the state. This list of courses is likely to change as of
July 2005. Please maintain contact with the Science Credential Advisor for updated
information.
