Student Teaching Application Meetings

Candidates must submit a Student Teaching Application during the semester prior to the one in which they wish to student teach.  All candidates must attend a Student Teaching Application meeting, during which they receive the application and instructions.

Applications for Summer/Fall semester student teaching must be submitted no later than March 1st.   Applications for Spring student teaching must be submitted no later than October 1st.  Deadlines are firm.

Spring 2010 Student Teaching Application Deadline: October 1, 2009

REMINDER:  Passing CBEST & CSET scores must be turned in by the October 1, 2009, deadline in order to student teach in SPRING 2010.  Candidates completing subject matter course work must have 100% Subject Matter Competence prior to Spring 2010.  If you have any questions, please call the Single Subject Program Office at 562-985-5325.
