Fingerprint Certificate of Clearance

Students applying to a credential program at CSULB must meet California Commission on Teacher Credentialing fingerprint clearance guidelines. Fingerprint Clearance can be met in one of three ways: Certificate of Clearance, Emergency Permit or Substitute Permit.

Proof of application for Clearance must be submitted with the SSCP application packet. Proof of having received full clearance must be submitted prior to beginning of student teaching.
