Multiple Subject Credential Program (K-8 Teaching)Application MeetingsSee below Monday, 11/9/2009 Tuesday, 11/24/2009 It is not necessary to make a reservation to attend an Information Meeting. Welcome to the Multiple Subject Credential Program at California State University, Long Beach. Our program is a state-approved and nationally accredited professional preparation program which leads to a credential to teach multiple subjects in a self-contained classroom setting. Teachers with this credential traditionally teach elementary (K-8) grades. Students who wish to learn more about the Multiple Subject Credential Program (MSCP) and/or who plan to apply to the program are required to attend a Group Information and Application Meeting prior to the March 1st or October 1st application deadline. Meeting dates and times are listed below. Reservations are not necessary to attend these meetings. Please purchase the Multiple Subject Credential Program Handbook at the CSULB Bookstore or the Copy Pro Copy Center at the corner of Palo Verde and bring it with you to the meeting. Please note that application to CSULB is separate from the application to the credential program. Applications to the Multiple Subject Program are only available at the Application Meetings listed here. Click here for instructions on applying to CSULB. PLEASE NOTE: Due to the California State budget crises, all CSU campuses have been directed that they may not accept any graduate/post-bac admission applications for the Spring 2010 term for any enrollment category. The Multiple Subject Credential Program will accept program applications for Spring 2010 up to the October 1, 2009 Deadline. Program admissions may be affected by budget restrictions. Admission to the Credential Program does not affect admission to the University. The links on the left side of this page describe the program options offered at CSULB and provide information on the application process. We hope to see you at an Information Meeting soon!
