Multiple Subject Credential - Program Choices

The CSULB Department of Teacher Education offers the following tracks, all of which lead to the California Multiple Subject Credential for those who wish to teach in a self-contained classroom, typically found in the elementary school.

• Multiple Subject Credential
  2042 Preliminary Multiple Subject Teaching Credential Preparation Program
• Multiple Subject Spanish /English BCLAD
  Multiple Subject Credential with BCLAD
• Spanish/English BCLAD in México
  BCLAD Spanish Immersion Program in Querétaro, México
• Multiple Subject Asian Languages/English BCLAD
  Multiple Subject Credential with BCLAD in Cantonese, Khmer, Korean, Mandarin, or Vietnamese
• Liberal Studies Integrated Teacher Education Program (ITEP)
  Undergraduate program that combines a B.A. in Liberal Studies with the Multiple Subject Credential Program. Students may also opt to complete the Education Specialist Credential with this program. For more information, contact Liberal Studies at 562-985-4228.

  Multiple Subject Credential for Teachers working on Intern Credentials in a public school district
