Reading and Language Arts

1. Can I take courses before being officially admitted into the program?
2. I don't have three years of full time teaching experience. Can I apply to the program?
3. I taught for several years on an emergency or intern credential. Will those years count towards the three years of teaching experience?
4. I took a children's literature course in my undergraduate program. Can I transfer those units?
5. I've been teaching for many years and use children's literature every day in my classroom. Can I waive the prerequisite?
6. Must I complete the children's or adolescent literature prerequisite before I begin the program.
