Monday - Thursday: 9:00am - 5:00pm
Friday: 9:00am-12:00pm & 1:00pm-5:00pm (closed form 12-1 for lunch)
The Teacher Preparation Advising Center will be closed on the following dates:

Interested in becoming a teacher but don't know where to begin? The Teacher Preparation Advising Center (TPAC) at Cal State Long Beach can help! We offer pre-program and In-program advising and information for the Liberal Studies Bachelors Degree as well as the Multiple Subject (elementary teaching), Single Subject (middle and high school teaching) and Education Specialist (special education) credential programs. We are located in ED 1 - 67 in the College of Education south of the Campus Library. Some of our other services include:
- General Academic information about California teaching credential programs, College and University policy
- Referrals for questions best answered by other College offices, University Offices, departments, programs or faculty advisors

Walk-in advising is available for current and prospective students that want information on or have questions regarding the Credential Programs. If you are a Liberal Studies student and would like to speak with a Liberal Studies advisor regarding your bachelors degree requirements, please check the Liberal Studies website for their walk-in hours.
August 24 - August 28, 2015
Due to the start of the Fall semester there will be no walk-in advising hours the week of August 24-28. If you have quick questions feel free to stop by TPAC during our business hours and someone will be happy to help you. Walk-in advising hours will resume the week of August 31.
Hours are subject to change. It is suggested that you contact TPAC at 562-985-1105 to verify hours prior to coming to campus for advising. It is also highly recommended that you attend a program information meeting prior to coming in for advising. See the individual program websites listed above for Information Meeting dates and times.
