CSET Workshops

CSET Content Workshop for current CSULB students pursuing the MULTIPLE SUBJECT AND EDUCATION SPECIALIST ONLY:

The CSULB College of Education is pleased to offer FREE Preparation Workshops for the Multiple Subject CSET exam.  Workshops dealing with content knowledge will be taught by Liberal Studies faculty and will be offered in early Spring and early Fall semesters.  These workshops are for current CSULB students only......including students taking credential courses through Open University in Spring 2008 and credential students on Educational Leave pending CSET.

Unfortunately, we are unable to offer a free CSET Subtest I Preparation Workshop this semester. You will also find CSET preparation workshops available for a fee through CSULB Extension Services, the Orange County Department of Education and the L.A. County Office of Education.

Multiple Subject CSET Workshops (Content knowledge)

Students must sign up for each workshop they will attend and obtain an admit card for admittance to the review course(s).  There is no registration by phone or e-mail.  To attend the subject matter review course(s), you must be a current CSULB student (bring current ID card or your Fall '06 class schedule).  Students may attend all three workshops or select any one or more of their choice.

No Presentation Dates are available at this time. Please check this site again in late July 2007.

Requirement:  Purchase CSET packet of handouts from the Bookstore Copy Center
Recommended:  CSET Cliffs Notes Book

The workshops will be held at CSULB.  They are free of charge, but you must pay for parking.  Parking is available in any student lot on campus.  You will find a yellow parking permit dispensing machine in each lot, as well as the parking structure, and the fee is $3.25.  You do not need to purchase a permit to park in these lots on Saturday, unless there is special event parking.  If there is a special event and you choose to park in that lot, you must pay the charge indicated by parking personnel.  (Click here for CSULB map )
