Teacher Preparation Advising Center (TPAC)

Summer 2015 Office Hours:  

Monday - Friday: 9:00am - 12:00pm & 1:00pm - 5:00pm (Closed from 12-1 for lunch)

The Teacher Preparation Advising Center will be closed on the following dates:

Friday June 26th - closed from 9am-12pm. Will open at 1pm.

Friday July 3rd - claosed all day in observance of 4th of July Holiday

Monday September 6th - closed all day in observance of Labor Day Holiday

Interested in becoming a teacher but don't know where to begin?  The Teacher Preparation Advising Center (TPAC) at Cal State Long Beach can help!  We offer pre-program and In-program advising and information for the Liberal Studies Bachelors Degree as well as the Multiple Subject (elementary teaching), Single Subject (middle and high school teaching) and Education Specialist (special education) credential programs.

We are located in ED 1 - 67 in the College of Education south of the Campus Library.  Some of our other services include:

  • General Academic information about California teaching credential programs, College and University policy
  • Referrals for questions best answered by other College offices, University Offices, departments, programs or faculty advisors
