CBEST Workshops

The Teacher Preparation Advising Center and Impact Teach Program sponsor a three hour workshop for each of the areas on CBEST prior to each administration of the exam.  These workshops are free of charge, and are designed to complement your own self-study for the exam.

You may attend any or all of these workshops, but you must register in advance for those you wish to attend.  It's easy to register.  Once dates and times have been posted below, just send an email to hdavis2@csulb.edu, containing your name, phone number, and the workshop(s) you plan to attend. We stop accepting reservations three days prior to each workshop in order to ensure that we have enough materials.

Workshops are scheduled to help you prepare for the December 2009 CBEST examination.  Please watch this site for future dates and times.

The workshops will be held at CSULB and are conducted by Impact Teach Program staff.  They are free of charge, but you must pay for parking.  Parking is available in any student lot on campus.  You will find a yellow parking permit dispensing machine in each lot, as well as the parking structure, and the fee is $4.00.  You do not need to purchase a permit to park in these lots on Saturday, unless there is special event parking.  If there is a special event and you choose to park in that lot, you must pay the charge indicated by parking personnel.  (Click here for map and directions to CSULB)

NOTE: You must arrive on time at these workshops, and attend all three hours. Please turn off pagers and cell phones so that the workshop is not disrupted. Each participant will receive only one copy of program materials. Please do not request extra copies for anyone who did not attend the workshop.
